Construction Details Fence post are pressure treated 4x4. Post holes are 22-24" deep. Posts are post capped or beveled at 22% to shed water.
Posts are secured in at least 90 lbs. of concrete tapered away from the post to prevent decay from standing water.
Runners are cedar 2x4, secured to post by Simpson Strong Tie fence clips.
Top cap is 2x4 tite knot cedar, secured to post every 16'' with 3" Dacronite screws.
Fence boards are premium grade cedar. Boards are nailed to runners with 2" galvanized nails in a straight line pattern.
Gate post are pressure treated 4x6. Gate is Tahoe design with thumb latch entry and matching black hinges. Hardware in attaching gate includes 5/16x2" galvanized lag nut and washer and 5/16x3" galvanized lags.
